Garden Grandeur Thinking of you
Hello crafty friends! New here? Don't worry, me (Kirstynn) too! I'm so excited to be here as part of the LDRS Design Team. Today I'm going to be using the Garden Grandeur set. This set is so great because it has coordinating layering stencils that make for a beautifully colored design in minutes. Let's Jump right in.
First thing I did was use the layering stencils and the LDRS hybrid inks to create a beautifully colored floral image. I wanted to use a few different colors on some of the stencils so I used a scrap paper to mask some of the areas off.
Once I had all of the stenciling complete I stamped over my image with the coordinating stamp. I used the color Alloy, which is a light gray ink. I really wanted to add the outline of the stamp with out it being too much of a contrast.
Once I was happy with the image, I cut it out using the coordinating die. I also died 2 of this shape in plain white cardstock and stacked them up for some dimension. I cut a piece of white cardstock that measured 3 3/4" by 5". I used the Little boy blue ink to blend the edges of and additional piece of white cardstock that measured 4" by 5 1/4". I matted the smaller white cardstock onto the blue and then placed that piece onto an A2 sized card. I then added my die cut image. I added my sentiment at the bottom right corner in the same Little Boy Blue ink.
Lastly I added some detail with a white gel pen and a glitter gel pen to the pink flowers. I then added some small white dots to the centers of the blue flowers with some liquid enamel drops. I placed a few sequins next to my sentiment and paired it with a light pink envelope.
Thanks so much for crafting with me! I hope this helped to inspire you to be creative. See you soon!
