Grateful Heart Floral
Hello Crafty Friends! Tracy here with a post featuring some new items, as well as, an older favorite! So, let's get right into the details.
I began this project by stamping the florals from the LDRS Corner Garden set in black ink and then heat embossing it using clear embossing powder. Once those were stamped, I began coloring the images using alcohol markers.
When those were done, I used the LDRS Corner Garden Coordinating Die to cut those pieces. While I was already cutting, I went ahead and cut the LDRS Modern Trellis Coverplate as well. I absolutely love cover dies! They just add so much interest and texture with minimal effort!
I used the LDRS Dan-D-Lion ink pad to do some ink blending in the corners that I was going to place my florals. I had decided on this sentiment from the LDRS Thankful Flowers Slimline set because I loved it so much. The other thing that I love is die cut sentiments, so I'm super excited to see dies with the stamp sentiments!
Just as I did for the florals, I stamped the sentiment using black ink and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. I used the LDRS Thankful Flowers Slimline Coordinating Die to trim that out as well. Now I'm ready to assemble!
I glued the trellis die to my card base and adhered the florals in the corners using foam tape for dimension. I nestled the sentiment in between the florals and adhered that with foam tape as well. I'm pretty sure that I've said this before, I don't know how to make cards without dimension! Once all of the elements were adhered, I added some gold embellishments to finish up.
I hope you enjoyed this project, and I hope you'll stop by the LDRS website to check out all of the new products! Thanks for joining me today!
Tracy
