Happy Life! by Sophie Delorme

Hello friends!

It’s Sophie on the blog today with a new layout to share!

I used the beautiful One Fine Day collection for this tone-on-tone layout.

My starting point was this cute family photo at the park this summer. I cut it in a circle and decided to embellish around it to create a wreath.

I teared a big chunk of the polka dot paper  for the bottom of my page to ground everything.

I fussy cut numerous coral and light pink flowers out of one of the beautiful floral papers, and created a ton of white foliage with the Myrtle Leaves die, the Mini Foliage die, the Aspen Leaves die and the Ginko Leaves die. I created bigger leaves with a leaf punch from my stash and hand stitched on them.

I used a die cut and a fussy cut word for my title and added a few touches of blue with flowers and a die cut ticket for my date.

Finally, I hand stitched some swirls for a few flowers flying around the page.

Here are more close-ups:

I love the soft look of the page. It makes the photo stand out so well!

I hope this page could inspire you in some way!

Until next time,

Sophie xx

Love the sewing you do on your pages. Working on a page similar and think I will add that to the butterflies that I am putting on the page. And I had not thought about grounding. Will be using that element also. Thanks.
