Happy Thoughts

Hello Friends! It's Carol here today and I am sharing a fun card using beautiful new products from the Spring Collection.

I used the gorgeous Cosmos stamp, stencil and die set for this card. To start, I pulled out the new Favorite Things 6x6 patterned paper pad. There are so many lovely patterns, it was really hard to choose.

I decided to go with the stripes and clouds because it just reminds me of spring (which hopefully is around the corner)! I die cut the patterned paper using the Delicate Stitches Rectangle Scallop die. This is a nesting die set, so I cut the larger scallop from the patterned paper, then the frame from white card stock.

After that was complete, I stenciled my floral image using the coordinating stencils. After stenciling was complete, I die cut the image. I then adhered it to the bottom left of my panel. Lastly, I stamped and die cut a sentiment from the Cosmos stamp set and adhered it to my card along with a few shiny pearls to finish it off.

I absolutely love using patterned paper in my cardmaking, it just gives the card a whole new look! If you haven't used patterned paper in a while, I highly recommend it! Patterned paper ain't just for scrapbooking!
