Hello Sunshine!

Hi everyone, It's Jennifer here. This month I'd like to share this fun autumnal card with all of you.

For this card I began with a US A2 white card panel. Then I used hybrid inks in Banana Cream Pie – LDRS Creative, Tangerine Dream – LDRS Creative and Lipstick Jungle – LDRS Creative to create a bright and bold background using the new layered Gingham Check 6x6 Stencil - 2 Pack – LDRS Creative

While the ink blended panel was drying I stamped these cute sunflowers from the Hello Sunshine 4x6 Stamps – LDRS Creative in Raven – LDRS Creative hybrid ink and coloured the images in with alcohol markers. Once I finished the colouring I used the Hello Sunshine Coordinating Dies – LDRS Creative to cut out the images. This die is great because you can cut all the images in just one pass which is a huge time saver.

For the greeting I stamped the Hello Sunshine sentiment in Coffee Bean – LDRS Creative from the same stamp set and and again cut it out with the co-ordinating die. The word dies in this set also come with a shadow layer that I used to cut some brown textured paper. I layered this behind the sentiment to add some contrast against the background.

Once the ink blended panel was dry, I trimmed it down and layered onto some white and brown cardstock. I cut a circle from vellum and arranged the colored and cut stamped images on top. Using liquid glue I adhered them onto the background being careful to only apply it behind the images so that the glue would not show through the vellum. The sentiement was added to the bottom of the arrangement with some foam tape, Then the whole card front was placed to an A2 card base with a tape runner.

Finally I placed a few brown heart embelishments around the image and sentiemtnto finsh of this card.
