Here Today, Gone to Maui

Hello Friends, it's Carol here today and I'm sharing a sweet card using the new Exclusive Craft Kit called Gone to Maui. This kit is adorable and I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a summer vacation!

For this card, I trimmed down a sheet of patterned paper from the One Fine Day collection to cover my enter card front. Next, I die cut that awesome Hexagon Coverplate using kraft card stock and adhered it on top of the patterned paper.

After that, I stamped and colored the tiki hut and tropical drink with a few water based markers. I die cut both images, added foam tape to the back and adhered them to the center of my card. Lastly, I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment, added a few sequins and this festive card was complete!

So, do you have any fun and exciting vacations planned for the summer? We'll be taking a cruise towards the end of the summer so I see plenty of tropical drinks in my future!
