Hippopotamus Snow Globe Card
Hey, everyone! It's Lynnea! Every time I use the LDRS Creative Hippopotamus for Christmas Stamp Set I just want to burst into song! These little guys are so cute and they are definitely all I want for Christmas!
I have always loved snow globes, so I decided to mix and match items from the current release with the snow globe from the Snow Deer to Me Stamp Set from last year! I stamped the globe and the adorable hippos with Raven Hybrid Ink and then colored them with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating Snow Deer to Me and Hippopotamus for Christmas Die Sets to cut out the images.
My all time favorite paper pack is the MacKenzie Christmas 6x6 Paper Pack! The colors are stunning, the patterns are gorgeous, and I just can't stop starring at it! I used a bunch of it last year and had a lot of scraps left over. Of course I would never throw away a pretty patterned paper scrap and this is my favorite way to use them! I adhered strips of a bunch of different patterns diagonally across an A2 piece of cardstock creating a new patterned paper mixed from a lot of patterns in the MacKenzie Paper Pack! I used the middle die in the A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers Die Set to cut my new patterned paper and give it a stitched edge.
I layered my patterned paper onto a card base with foam tape and popped up my snow globe and hippos on top. I added a bunch of gems around my card for extra sparkle to finish the card. Thanks for joining me!
