Holiday Floral
Happy Fall!!! These beautiful Fall days are so inspiring and lift the spirits. I cannot wait for all the Fall colors to start appearing.
Today I have a fun Christmas card in non-traditional colors. I love the neutral, monochromatic color scheme and chic look of this card that could easily be mass produced.
I used three products to make this beauty starting with the Holiday Floral 6x8 Stamp set. It is so versatile and couples with dies to create a multitude of different looks for cards, scrapbook pages, or art work.
I started by stamping the floral tree base image in Snowy White Hybrid Ink on kraft cardstock (sized A2 panel). After allowing time for the ink to dry, I followed with the flower stamp in Raven Hybrid Ink. Once again, allow the ink to dry before adding the flower centers in Snowy White.
Next, I die cut the panel with the Scalloped Rectangle Frame set. I LOVE this die set and use it regularly for A2 sized cards.
Next up is die cutting the sentiment "Good Tidings" from the Large Word Christmas Die set. This set comes with 3 sentiments that can be die cut alone or with a coordinating shadow. Love that and it die cuts so CRISP!
I die cut 3 times (without the shadow) and stacked the sentiment for dimension. I also covered the entire sentiment in glossy accents to add a bit of shine.
This card is built on an A2, top folding card base in kraft color. I wrapped the bottom panel in black & white ribbon, then adhered the top panel with foam strips.
What do you think?? Are you strictly a traditional Christmas color type of person or are you open to something different?? I personally love something new and edgy that makes you take a second look.
Happy Fall to you all. I hope you have a wonderful October!

LeeAnn
