I like the way you roll!

I don't know about you but I'm loving the Pastry Pals stamp set and co-ordinating dies from the Pastry Pals - Exclusive Craft Kit – LDRS Creative. The images are adorable and the sentiments really make me chuckle. They are so cute that I just had to use them to make a Valentine's themed card.  

 

So for this project I started with a piece of smooth white card stock cut to 4 x 5.25 inches and used the layering circle stencils from the kit to ink blend a background from Coffee Bean – LDRS Creative Tickled Pink – LDRS Creative Kiss Me Red – LDRS Creative Hybrid inks.

I stamped the donut image and coloured with alcohol markers in a co-ordinating colour scheme to the background and cut using the dies. I added highlights to the images with a white gel pen for some extra interest.

 

 

To ground my images I cut 2 stitched hearts from red and pink solid coloured cardstock using the Stitched Heart Die Set – LDRS Creative. I stamped the larger heart with Watermark Emboss Pad – LDRS Creative and sprinkled with white embossing powder before setting it with my heat gun.

After assembling the card front I layered it onto a standard US A2 red card base. Finally I added a few heart embelishments for decoration and the card was complete. 

I just love how it turned out!!
