It's Time to Get Cozy

Hello Friends! It's Carol today with a cozy card to get you all warmed up with cooler weather on its way. This card came together pretty quickly because of the beautiful Peace and Joy patterned paper I used to create diagonal stripes along the card front. I went back and forth between the pretty pattern and some navy blue card stock I had in my stash.

I love this patterned paper because the colors are non-traditional so you can use it for more than just holiday themed cards. I call that, stretching your supplies and really getting more for your money. 

Next, I die cut that great mug from the Cozy Cuppa stamp set and used some alcohol markers in my favorite color, pink! I die cut the mug and I used some glitter card stock to die cut the whipped cream.  Last, but certainly not least, I heat embossed the sentiment also from the Cozy Cuppa stamp set.
