Kicking your Coloring Up a Notch with If Friends Were Flowers
Hello crafters! Courtney here and I have had a blast being a guest designer for LDRS Creative during the past 2 months. For my final project, I pulled out the If Friends Were Flowers stamp and die set again.
I did a bit of masking to make the in order to fit more flowers and leaves into my floral arrangement.
Next, I colored the images with my alcohol markers. And while this can be beautiful, I decided to add a bit more contrast by bringing in my colored pencils. I went over the darkest areas with a light hand just to deepen up my shadows.
For the assembly of the card I cut out a semi circle around my image as well as a piece of black card stock. (I traced my roll of foam tape). I layered those onto the lower right hand corner and added my sentiments using the dies from the set.
