Let's Rock and Roll !

Lounon here ! Big day for this little boy, his friend is a terrific driver and she agreed to give him his first driving lesson !

Today, I share with you a sliding card I made with various products from the new Summer collection, they go perfectly together. It was so much fun to make !

First, I cut two scalloped rectangles into marker-friendly cardstock with my scalloped die from the Floral Scallop Slimline dies set.

On one of them, I stamped my houses from the Cave Dwellings 4x6 Stamps, my dinosaur from the Baby Dino 4x8 Stamps and my sentiment from the Cave Kiddos 4x8 Stamps with my Raven inkpad.

I took the other scalloped rectangle and cut a thin rectangle on the bottom part with my craft knife to make the slider mechanism. I also cut into 1" (2.5cm) high.

I colored the two parts with my markers.

After that, I stamped my car from the Cave Kiddos 4x8 Stamps with my Raven inkpad. I colored it with my markers and fussy cut it.

I also cut a strip from the leftover of my second scalloped rectangle. I colored it with my markers.

I put two pieces of foam pads behind the wheels of my car. Then, I added two thin pieces of foam rolls behind the part with the rectangle cut. I placed my car in the slot and glued it on my colored stripes.

Finally, I glued my slider mechanism on the base of my card and matted and layered it with a bigger white rectangle.
