Log Cabin Christmas

Hello Friends, it's Carol here today for LDRS Creative sharing a card using the adorable Log Cabin Pocket Pals stamp and die combo. I decided to use a coloring medium I don't use often enough and that's colored pencils! I colored the large cabin image along with a couple of sweet critters from the Campfire Friends Pocket Pals and I used some odorless mineral spirits to help blend the colors out.

After die cutting the images, I pulled out some kraft card stock and one of my favorite basic dies and that's the Diagonal Stitched Layered Card Topper die. I'm telling you, I could use those dies on every card, it's just so classic and timeless. I used a little Bali Blue ink to ink blend the background along with some Snowy White ink for splatters.

For my sentiment, I used Happy Holidays from the Christmas Gift Tag Stack and lastly, I added a few beads from my stash to bring in that Christmas feeling.
