May Flowers

Good morning and happy May!  LeeAnn here for LDRS Creative with an alternative use of floral stamp sets.  I am always looking for ways to stretch my supplies and make the same stamp set look different with creative techniques.  This one is quick and easy but colorful and fun!
I started with a 3.75" x 5" white card panel.  I blended LDRS Creative Hybrid Ink in four colors using one large circle from the Circles 6x6 layering stencil set.  I varied the circle's exposure around the edge of the card to create visual interest.
I used Key Lime, Dan-D-Lion, Tropical Sea, and Tangerine Dream inks to blend the  circles.  I tried to vary the color saturation to create a faded look in each circle.  Next I inked the Forget Me Not stamp set in Raven Hybrid Ink and stamped various pieces around the edge.  I then stamped the sentiment from the stamp set in Raven ink also.  I'm in love with the font on these sentiments!!
Next, I added some fun little dots randomly with a black gel pen.  This adds a little geometric feel to the card.  I mounted the card panel on black card stock then used foam to attach the card panel to an A2 white card base.  A few sequins finishes it off and adds a little shine.
I just LOVE the look of the black simple stamped images on the colorful background.  Simple but lots of fun!
The flower image in this stamp set is one large stamp.  I simply inked parts of it each time I stamped and wiped the stamp clean between stamping.  It also has an additional sentiment in the same fun font.
Happy May to you all.  I hope spring has officially found you wherever you live.  Time to plant some flowers!!
Crafty hugs,
LeeAnn
