My Darling | Sophie Delorme

Hello friends!

It’s Sophie on the blog today with a new layout to share!

I used the beautiful Lovely Watercolor collection for this page, and my main focus was to use the gorgeous A2 Envelope and Envelope Liner die.

I cut a 10 inches square out of thick white cardstock and centered it on the green patterned paper. I machine stitched around the edges of the square.

I cut the envelope with green cardstock and used a beautiful floral patterned paper for the inside envelope liner.

I used a beautiful photo of my daughter from our apple picking a few weeks ago. I added a little bit of white gesso to the envelope to make sure that my title pops well. I added a tag to write down my journaling and a circle die cut for my subtitle, both from the Ephemera pack.

I created a soft background behind the envelope with the Gingham Check stencils avec Pink Tutu ink. It creates a beautiful shadow around the envelope and photo.

Finally, I embellished the page with numerous floral die cuts and some cut out of patterned paper that I placed behind and inside the envelope, and added a few enamel dots for more pops of color!

Here are more close-ups:

I am so happy with the result and hope you do too!

Envelopes are not only for cards! They make a beautiful addition to a scrapbook page too!

Thank you for stopping by, happy crafting!

Sophie
