One Layer Card

Hello Friends! It's Carol here today and I'm excited to share a card with absolutely no dimension! This is way out of my comfort zone because I love all the dimension, but I challenged myself to create a one layer card.

I used the beautiful Floral Solid Layering stamp set for this sweet card. I stamped the layers of the flowers using pink inks and then added the stem. I noticed that my stem didn't quite meet my flower, so I just pulled out a green alcohol marker and connected it. There's always a way to fix a mistake, right?!

Next, I stamped three sets of dots around the flowers and added my sentiment which is also from the same stamp set. To complete my card, I used my all-time favorite die, the A2 Diagonal Stitched layered card topper. I adhered it to a pink card base and this one layer card was done!

My personal challenge...accomplished! Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!
