Open Heart Friends

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with LDRS Creative’s stamp set named, Friends along with the die set called, Open Heart.

Valentine's Day is just a week away so I wanted to share a heart-filled card and the best part is that this card can be used for an every day show of affection as well! 

 

I focused on one of the heart dies in the  Open Heart set and die cut 5 of them. I glued them directly onto a piece of white cardstock. Once I had them all glued down, I trimmed it in half. I wanted this portion to be on the side of the card. 

I used the negative space from the Open Heart die that was used for the side of the card to be the focal point for the Friends image. I chose this adorable little boy holding a flower. He looks so sweet! 

To finish off this card, I added the sentiment "With Love", also from the Open Heart set, right under the little boy. It's a simple card but has a lot of fun elements easily created from this die set.
