Our Friendship is Amazing card

Hello friends, it's Carol here today for LDRS Creative sharing a card using the beautiful Dahlia stamp/die set. Today I used a fun technique, Ink Smooshing! It's colorful, a little messy but a whole lot of fun! First, grab a piece of acetate along with dye inks, oxide inks or watercolors, whatever you have on hand. 

 

Add a little color to acetate, spritz with water and smoosh it onto your card stock. Easy peasy! Grab as many colors as you like and repeat the process. Once your background is pleasing to your eye go ahead and set aside to dry or if you're impatient (like me) grab your heat gun and dry the background. 

Next, I inked up that beautiful Dahlia image and cut it out using the coordinating die. Since my background was already so colorful, I decided not to color to Dahlia so it would make a nice contrast to the ink smooshing.

After adhering the dahlia, I heat embossed the word Amazing which also has a coordinating die (love that) and I added it on top of the Dahila. In the corner of the card I added the sentiment "Your Friendship is" to finish up this sweet card.
