Peace and Joy

Hi everyone!

Sindhu here. I hope you are all doing good.

I have a Holiday themed card to share with you today.  If you are looking for an easy yet fancy looking card, today's post is for you. :)

Here is my card-

I started by stamping the floral image from Peace and Joy stamp set on a piece of cardstock and coloured it with alcohol markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut the image out.

Then, I die cut three times using the Modern Trellis cover plate die- white, grey and patterned paper. The patterned paper is from Peace and Joy 6x6 pad.

Then, I adhered all the die cuts one over the other but with a little off setting. The above picture shows it perfectly. I trimmed off the little extras peeking through at the top and bottom.

I adhered the whole assembly on white card base.

I tore a piece of vellum, added it on the die cuts and adhered the coloured image,  finished the card with a with a sentiment and some gems.

This easy technique adds so much dimension to an orherwise simple design.

I hope you like the card. See you next month!

Big hugs...

Sindhu.

Love this idea! So beautiful. I would love to CASE. Wondering why the picture doesn’t not show up when I try to pin. Is pinning allowed from LDRS?
