Peace On Earth Christmas Card

Hi all, Welcome back to the LDRS Creative inspiration page. Kirstynn here with another card to share with you all. I really loved creating this one. I started by using the Diamond Leaf Stencil with Olive Branch Hybrid Ink and Kiss Me Red Hybrid Ink. This stencil set is a layering set that can be used for lots of occasions.

I then used the Holiday Floral Stamp and Die Set to stamp and cut out the smaller floral bundle in the set. I also used Lipstick Jungle and Evergreen Hybrid Ink. I repeated this until I had 4 floral pieces cut out. 

I then trimmed down the Diamond Stenciled Panel to 3 3/4 X 5 inches. I decided that I needed a red border behind it. I had some red mirror cardstock on hand so I reached for that first. I trimmed that down to 4 X 5 1/4 inches. However, I try my best to conserve my specialty cardstocks so I trimmed out the middle to put into my scrap box, then added it behind the stenciled panel. 

I probably could have cut slightly more out than I did, but I wanted to have a place for the glue. I then used the Christmas Sentiments Set to create that middle sentiment. I used the shadow die and cut it out of that same mirror cardstock so that it all tied together. 

Once I had all of my pieces, I assembled it all by using some foam tape for the sentiment and then tucked the floral pieces in behind. 

This would be a great card for mass producing. It was fairly simple to make has some great detail in the stencil and the stamped florals. It might be fun to try it in a wintery blue.
