Purple Butterfly Card
Hi Friends, Kirstynn here, hoping to inspire you today.
Today, I'm sharing a card that I made using some new stencils and stamps from the most recent release.
I used the following products to create this card
To start I used the butterfly stencil from the Patter Background Stencils and ink blended some purple butterflies onto a white A2 card panel.
I used some butterfly stamps from the Picnic Postage Collage set and from the Hops & Waddles stamps to stamp the cute butterflies in the La La Lavender Ink. I then fussy cut the butterflies out. They are pretty small so this only took me a short time to do.
I then cut a rectangle out of vellum using the Mixed Postage Rectangle Dies I also stamped my sentiment in black ink and cut that out using the coordinating die.
The next step was just to assemble all the pieces.
I then trimmed my stenciled background to 4X5.25 and then glued that onto a side folding A2 card base. The last step was just to adhere the vellum piece to card base.
After I had everything assembled, I wanted to add a little bit of sparkle. So, I used a glitter gel pen and added some sparkle to the butterflies.
I also added some sequins for an extra little bit of detail.
I hope this helped you to be inspired today. Happy Spring.
