Ready for an Eggstra Special Easter??!!

Hello all, LeeAnn here with a fun Easter card featuring products from the new LDRS Creative release.  Can you even believe we're already talking about Easter cards???  Where does time go?  I'm not going to lie, I'm REALLY looking forward to Spring so I'm not complaining!!

This card is an A2 sized card (4.25" x 5.50") built on a white card base.  The card panel is die cut using the Scalloped Rectangle Dies, which come with 8 dies!!  So many possibilities with this one die set!  The pink center piece is also die cut from the same set.  The cardstock is from the Lovely Watercolor paper pack, which has some beautiful spring colors and prints. This paper pack comes in 6x6, 4x9 and 12x12.  

All of the stamped images are from the new Easter Pirouette 4x6 Stamp Set, which also has coordinating dies.  Like a lot of LDRS sets, there are dies for the sentiment stamps as well.  This is one of my favorite features of LDRS stamp sets.  I used all 6 egg stamps (two sizes) and stamped the base layer in Peachy Keen, Pink Tutu, and Fairie Dust.  The top, decorative layer on the eggs is stamped in Parisian Purple, Soft Kisses, and In Your Face Orange.  I then added some sparkly, clear embossing powder to each egg and heat embossed to add some sparkle and shimmer.  The three chicks are stamped in Raven Ink and colored with alcohol ink.  I die cut all of the images using the coordinating die set and mounted using foam squares for a little dimension.  

The sentiment is also stamped in Raven and heat embossed using clear embossing powder.  The font is so spectacular and fun.  I just LOVE it. And look how crisp it stamps!!!  Divine!

I finished this card off by adding a few shiny sequins and I just love the sparkle of the eggs.  Who's ready for Easter????  Bring on all the spring flowers and warm temps!
