Sea Shack Tags

Hello everyone ! Lounon here !

Today, I am sharing two sea-themed shaped tags I made using the The Sea Shack products from the new Beach Days collection! I love how the coordinating dies allow you to create shaped projects easily!

I used the same image to craft two different versions of the tag, switching up the colors for a fresh twist and adding a charming ribbon handle to one for a fun finishing touch.

The Sea Shack 4x6 Stamps

The Sea Shack Coordinating Dies

First, I stamped my image from the The Sea Shack 4x6 Stamps twice onto marker-friendly cardstock with my Raven inkpad.

Then, I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

I colored them with my alcohol markers and decided to use completely different blends to achieve two totally different looks. Do you have a favorite?

Don't feel like coloring or want to save time? Use the coordinating Layering Stencils to create beautifully colored images with ease!

For the base of the tags, I folded a piece of cardstock in half and used the coordinating dies, making sure they slightly overhung the fold to create a hinge.

I also used the coordinating die two more times onto white cardstock (matching the color of the tag base), then layered them behind the colored images to give a nice clean finish around the hinge. You don’t want to see any traces of markers when you look at your tags from behind, this little step keeps everything looking neat and polished!

One the more colorful tag I glued my ribbon between the colored panel and the base of the tag.

Et voilà!

May the craft be with you!
