Simple but Fun Invitations
Good morning and welcome back to the blog. I am sharing a fun Invitation I created using the new Invitation stamp set along with the Morning Brew & You're Invited stamp sets. This is for a coffee date with a good friend that is going through some medical testing. I thought it would be a good opportunity to sit down and have a heart to heart chat!
This card is an A2 sized card. I created it as a top fold card with the invitation on the front panel and left the inside blank, so I can write a note. You could easily make this a post card style on just a panel. I used Kraft card stock as the base and the top card panel is white and die cut using the Hand Torn Rectangle dies. This panel is layered on a dark brown card panel cut slightly larger.
I started stamping the Invitation stamp on the white card panel. I then used the You're Invited stamps to created the invitation. The title, for, where, when and time are all stamped in Raven Ink on the lines of the invitation. I then added the embellishments from the Morning Brew stamp set. These are stamped in Iced Tea or Coffee Bean ink or a combination of the two. The "my Home" stamp is a combination of stamps from With Affection and Family Collage stamp sets. The numbers are from the new Tracks & Treads stamp set. You can mix and match stamps from all sorts of sets to create a fun, eclectic invitation!
I love the mix of fonts used in the Collage family of stamps. They are so fun to create with! I hope this gives you inspiration to create today!
