Simply the Best ! One Fine Day collection

Hello friends !

 

It’s Sophie here and I am so excited to share my very first layout as a design team member for LDRS!!

 

 

I used the beautiful “One Fine Day” collection for this page.

 

I started with a thick white cardstock for my background and applied LDRS inks (Marina Madness, Olive Branch and Key Lime Pie) through the “With All My Heart” stencil with a brush.

 

 

I teared a big chunk of the polka dot and floral patterned papers from the collection and placed them on the upper portion of the page. I machine stitched on them and ruffled up the edges a little bit.

 

 

I centered a black and white photo of my sweet daughter Sabrina on the page, previously mounted on tissue paper and foam adhesive.

 

I fussy cut numerous flowers from patterned papers and adhered them around the photo. I also added a few die cuts from the “One Fine Day” Ephemera pack.

 

 

My title comes from the Small Puffy Alpha Stickers and the Sophie Alpha Uppercase and Lowercase dies.

 

 

Finally, I handwrote my journaling directly on the page, stamped the date and placed a few Enamel Dots as the finishing touch !
