Soft and Sweet Thinking of You

Hello Friends, it's Carol here today and I have a soft and sweet Thinking of You card to share.

I absolutely love the Old Brick Wall background stamp! For this card I heat embossed the image and did a ink blending. I thought I would do something a little different than a square background, so I die cut the image using the Elegant Stitched Frame slimline die. I also added a small gold strip to the top for a little added interest. Don't be afraid to use your slimline products on an A2 sized card because you can always cut it down to fit your card front.

Next, I pulled out an oldie but goodie, the Ginkgo Leaves die. This is such an elegant die! After die cutting it from white card stock, I added a little gold detail to the edges of a few of the leaves to tie back to my gold strip at the top of the card. I adhered my Ginkgo Leaves onto the brick wall and added it to a top folding card base.

Last but not least, I stamped my sentiment from the Poppy Posy stamp set. I die cut it and added it to upper right hand side of my card. This would be a great card to have in your stash because it's always nice to let someone know you're thinking about them. Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!

~Carol
