Spooktacular Halloween
Hi crafty friends,
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays which is exactly why I was so excited to use the Trick or Treat Pirouette Stamp set!
This set comes with a lot of small stamps, making it so versatile. Today I'm using those little stamps to make a fun background. I began by placing some of my favorites onto an acrylic block, you could use a stamp positioning tool also. Then I did some heat embossing with clear embossing powder on some black cardstock. This creates a really pretty glossy vs. matte effect.
I cut this panel to 3.75 inches by 5 inches I then matted this onto white cardstock that measured 4 inches by 5.25 inches. It was about this point that I thought some color would be fun, so I found this purple glitter cardstock in my collection. I cut out a 4.25 by 5.5 inch panel and glued it all onto a white card base.
For the sentiment, I stamped with black ink and heat embossed in clear and matted that onto another piece of that glittery purple. For a quick embellishment I did a silver thread nest behind it and popped it up with some foam tape.
I paired this with a silvery gray envelope, but it would look stunning with a black or purple option as well.
Thanks for crafting with me! I hope you all have a spooktacular Halloween!
