Stacked Ice Cream Cone
Hey, everyone! It's Lynnea with my first post as part of the LDRS Creative design team! I'm SO excited and I hope you love this project as much as I do! I have a video tutorial at the end of this post, so keep scrolling to watch!
The most exciting thing about summer for me is ice cream! Haha! I love going to the ice cream stand and grabbing a cone with my family! And pink and brown is a heavenly color combo! I decided to use some of my favorite LDRS Creative products for this card. The Waffle Cone stencil and Ice Cream Party stamp set were calling my name!
I used simple masking to stamp the cone and four scoops of ice cream (check it out in my video below!) from the Ice Cream Party stamp set using some Raven hybrid ink. Then I colored the image with some alcohol markers. Some gold embossed sprinkles and a sentiment finished off my cone. I blended a mix of Iced Tea and Pink Tutu hybrid inks with the Waffle Cone stencil onto the left side of my card as well as the inside. I rarely decorate the inside of my cards, but I loved how the two sentiments work together! I added some stamped hearts with Coffee Bean hybrid ink as well as some ink spatters for texture in my background.
To finish off my card I stamped the "friend" sentiment with Iced Tea hybrid ink from the If Friends Were Flowers stamp set and cut it out. I also stamped a coordinating sentiment with Pink Tutu ink onto a cardstock strip and added both with foam tape. I hope you'll watch my video below to see my process!
Thanks so much for watching! See you later!
This is so sweet, thanks for sharing the video tutorial.
