Thankful For You 6x8 Album layout | Nathalie DeSousa

Hi there!

Nathalie with you today to share  a new layout in my gratitude journal. Now that Thanksgiving is over, we have all those memories to document, and what better way to do it than with the beautiful LDRS products.   Let me show you what I have created:

 

I I started my page with the idea of creating an interactive layout.  For this, I used  the Elegant Stitched Frames Slimline Dies to create my pocket and the background for the spread.

 

 

I folded a piece of vellum, and used the Elegant Stitched Frames Slimline dies to cut the pocket. A bit of glue around the bottom edge of the vellum creates the pocket. 

 

 

I used the same die to cut white cardstock and add my journal inside the pocket.   I am using the new Big Words Die: Thankful to create the title of my spread.  I added it to the front  of the pocket along with a few Lovely Watercolor Enamel Dots and a small ephemera piece from the One Fine Day Ephemera pack.

 

 

I am using the negative piece of cardstock left over from the pocket page to create my picture spread.  I used the ELegant Stitched Frames Slimline dies to cut a paper from the One Fine Day 12x12 Paper pack, and layered the negative piece under the white cardstock ( it creates a double frame look on the page), then backed it all with a paper from the Lovely Watercolor 12x12 paper pack.

 

 

To finish the page, I added a few pieces of ephemera from both One Fine Day Ephemera Pack, and Lovely Watercolors Ephemera Pack around the pictures.   A few enamel dots complete the page.

 

 

I love how this turned out, and hope you used LDRS goodies to document your Gratitude memories.
