Thinking Of You

Hello everyone. It's Maria here on the blog and today, I'd like to share this simple, "no-stamping card", showcasing the Big Word "Thinking" Die Set, along with the Mini Foliage Dies, Lovely Watercolor Large Puffy Stickers, Lovely Watercolor Enamel Dots, A2 Diagonal Layered Stitched Toppers Die and Lovely Watercolor 12x12 Paper Pack.

 

I started by die-cutting the the background using the A2 Diagonal Layered Stitched Toppers Die with the  Lovely Watercolor 12x12 Paper Pack. I adhered this background panel on some A2-size top-folding notecard.

I also used the Big Word "Thinking" Die Set and black and white card stock to die-cut the word "thinking" and adhered them with liquid glue.  I foam-mounted this onto the card front for added dimension.

Since I wanted to match the color of the background I decided to use the Lovely Watercolor Large Puffy Stickers to add the words "of you" on top of the big word "thinking".  I really love these puffy stickers so I ordered a bunch more to use on my card projects and scrapbook layouts.

Next, I added the leaves on the background with liquid glue to add more texture to the card panel.  These leaves were die-cut using the Mini Foliage Dies [a must-have for any paper crafter!].  I finished the card design by adding the enamel dots from the Lovely Watercolor Enamel Dots.  Incidentally, these enamel dots match the colors of the leaves, don't you think?!  Here's another look at the card:
