Thinking Of You Today

Hi everyone!

Ilina here today. Are you loving the new release, as much as I do? I sure hope so!!!

Today I am sharing a slim line card where I combined the Folk Art Slimline Cover Plate die with the Folk Art Slim Line Layering stencil. You can use these products on their own, and also you can combine them for more detailed looking projects, that's what I did here.

I wanted the folk art elements from the stencil to stand out more, so I die cut the cover plate from Navy card stock.

Next I cut a piece of white card stock same size as the cover die (3 1/4" x 8 1/2") and using the new Blending Brushes and the Hybrid inks I built the layers (the ink colors I used are Soft Kisses, Prickly Pear Perfection, Tangerine Dream, Fandango and Four Leaf. Adhere the cover panel on top of the ink blended panel. I then put it under some heavy books to dry.

In meantime stamped sentiment from Garden Grandeur set on Navy card stock and embossed using White embossing powder, trimmed to size and adhered to the panel. To finish the card I adhered the panel to a slimline note card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have an amazing day!
