Tulip Mix Background Two for One Cards

Ilina here! Today I am sharing Two for One cards using the new Tulip Mix Background Impress-ions press and foil plate along with the Simply Words Dies and Simply Sentiments stamp set.

To make the cards start with a piece of LDRS Creative Cotton Watercolor paper and using the Betterpress Letterpress System press the background using black ink. Watercolor with watercolors of your choice. I used watercolor markers and shades of pink, purple, red, blue and green. 

Trim the panel to 4" x 5 1/4" and then cut diagonally  to create two pieces. They don't need to be equal. Set aside.

Die cut Thanks and Enjoy from black and Glitter gold cardstock. For the Thanks die cut it three times from black, for Enjoy in additional to the Glitter Gold die cut it two more times from white cardstock. Stack the die cuts to create more dimension and add more sturdiness. 

Cut two panels measuring 4"x 5 1/4" from white cardstock and strips of black cardstock. Add the strips on the back of the letterpress panel to give it a black edge. Trim off the excess. 

Adhere them to the white panels. Stamp complimenting sentiment in black and gold respectively and adhere the die cut sentiments. 

Adhere the panels to black note cards and add gold half back pearls to finish off the cards.
