Victorian Phone

Hello and welcome back to the inspiration blog.  I'm excited to show you the new Victorian Phone Impress-ion Press + Foil Plates today.  If you haven't had a chance to play with the Press + Foil system, what are you waiting for???  I absolutely LOVE the look of letter press and the little added touch of texture it provides!  It's so luxurious!

I started with an A2 sized card panel in gray.  I chose a sentiment from the set and the phone plate itself.  I inked it up with Raven ink & pressed the image onto the card stock. It provides a beautiful image with just one run through the die cut machine!

Next, I die cut the telephone using the Victorian Phone Coordinating Die. I also fussy cut the sentiment.  I prepared an A2 top folding, white card base.  I die cut a pink panel using the Stitched Scalloped Arches Dies.  I adhered the pink panel onto the base using foam strips, then adhered the telephone and sentiment using thin foam squares.  I finished the card off with some shiny embellishments for a little sparkle.

I absolutely LOVE a good clean and simple card.  You could add a little splatter or ink blending to the pink card panel for a little more interest if you like.  I really wish we still had these beautiful phones around!  Such quirky character!

I hope you find some time to get crafty today!  Hugs, LeeAnn
