Winter Wonderland | Erica Thompson
Hello friends! Erica here with you today sharing a 12x12 scrapbook layout using the gorgeous MacKenna collection!
I started with a fun snowflake cut file that I backed with one of the pattern papers from the MacKenna collection. I used piece of white cardstock as my base and trimmed it down to 11x11 and matted it on some black cardstock. For the largest mat I used another beautiful pattern paper from the MacKenna collection.
I wanted to add a little bit of something in the background so I added some ink splatters using Pink Tutu ink and some silver paint from my stash.
To adhere the cut file to the layout I used some foam adhesive to pop it up and help add some dimension to my page. I placed my photo above the title in the cut file and added one of the tag die cuts above the photo.
I think this photo and cut file were the perfect match for the MacKenna collection. I created a few embellishment clusters around the page using Mackenna die cuts and puffy stickers.
To finish off my layout I sprinkled in some of the MacKenna enamel dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by the LDRS blog today! I hope you enjoyed my layout and are inspired to create using the MacKenna collection!
