Hydrangeas
Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using LDRS Creative’s stamp set named, Hydrangeas. This particular stamp set is a larger set and includes this floral duo, which makes a very easy focal point for a card.
I stamped the duo out using Raven hybrid ink since I was using a mix of watercolors and alcohol markers. I went in first adding water and watercolors around the edges of the Hydrangeas duo. Once everything was dry, I went in with some alcohol markers to color the florals.
I went for a messy look for this card because the Hydrangeas are so detailed and I didn't want to spend too much time coloring all the little crevices carefully. I think both the messy watercolor and the quick coloring of the actual flower go together really well.
In this Hydrangeas stamp set, there's a ton of options for sentiments along with a large "Happy" sentiment. I decided to stamp the sentiment out on vellum using Watermark ink and heat embossing it in white. It's a little light in the photo but it looks really great in person.
I've been loving the new sets from this past release and I hope you have been enjoying all the inspiration from the design team. Come back soon!
