LDRS Creative New Release is Here! Great Staples for all of your CARDMAKING!

Good morning! Kathy here with some products from the fabulous new November Release! Today’s card features the amazing new Circle Phrase Dies, the Thank You Flowers stamp set and the Floral Silhouette. I love the combination and had so much fun playing with these products!

This is a top-folding A2 card. It measures 4.25” x 5.5”. Cut a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110 lb card stock to 4.25” x 11” and score, fold at 5.5”. Cut a piece of black card stock to 3.75” x 5”. Also cut a piece of white card stock 1/4” smaller on two sides.

First the DOTS! this dot border is in the new Thank You Flowers stamp set and is so fun. Yes this was a bit labor intensive but who puts a time limit on cardmaking? Not me! I cut a strip of white card stock that measured 3” x 5” (this will be cut down). Next, I put the dot border stamp at the top of my Misti Door, stamped my first color, cleaned the stamp and moved the card stock up 3/8” and repeated the process with my next color. I used the LDRS Creative Hybrid Inks in Tickled Pink, Tangerine Dream, Lantern Yellow, Olive Branch, Tropical Sea and Mrs. Periwinkle.

Using the Stampendable Tool really helps to put pressure on your stamps for a great image!

Now for the die-cutting. I am using one of the Circle Phrase Dies. This will be a staple in your craft room. There are FOUR of these dies in the set. The sentiments included are Miss You, Big Hugs, Hello and With Love. Today I am using the Big Hugs. I die-cut it out of white first. Then I used a slightly larger circle die I had and cut a solid circle out. Then I took a scrap of black card stock placed it across the BIG HUGS and cut it out. I glued the white circle (remove letter piece) on to the black. Then I used the black letters and glued them in the openings. This is optional. You can just use the solid black circle underneath and the black will show through. Or used patterned paper or colored card stock for fabulous looks. It is SO versatile! And did I mention there are FOUR of these dies in the set? WOW! I also cut a small strip of black using the 1/8” Slimline Background Strip Die.

On to assembly! Glue your stamped panel to the black border panel using the Craft Glue from LDRS Creative. Trim your dot panel down to the size of your stamped panel. The width of my dot panel is 1.5”. Glue down the solid black strip next to the dot panel. Add foam tape to the back of the Circle Phrase and add it to the main panel. I added foam tape to the back of the main panel and adhered to the card base. I also had a few black enamel dots lying around so added these.
