Mini slimline Tropical Floral

Hello Friends! It's Carol here today with my first blog post as a Design Team member for LDRS Creative!! I'm so super excited! Today I'm sharing a mini slimline card featuring the beautiful Tropical Floral stamp set.

I live in south Florida so this stamp set just brings me all the Florida vibes! I absolutely love ink blending and this card is no exception. I used beautiful inks from LDRS Creative for my rainbow background. And that beautiful floral image? I heat embossed it onto a sheet of gorgeous patterned paper from the Painted Garden paper pad and used the coordinating die to cut it out. This floral image is large and is meant for a regular slimline card but as I show here, it fits perfectly onto a mini slimline card as well. My card base is cut to 6 x 3.5. I also heat embossed the Miss you so much sentiment onto black card stock. I popped up the floral image onto the rainbow background then fussy cut the sentiment and added it to the bottom of the card. That was it!
