Hi everyone Jennifer here for LDRS Creative and I’d like to share this festive Christmas card with you all.
I was so inspired by the gorgeous Peace & Joy 4x9 Paper Pack – LDRS Creative
The patterned papers in this collection are simply stunning!
I began by die cutting the patterned paper using the outline die from the Floral Foliage Slimline Die – LDRS Creative and matted it into a pale teal linen card stock from my crafting stash. I just love the piercing detail of the outline die around the edge of the patterned card stock!
Next I stamped a wreath, sentiment and bow from the Peace & Joy 6x8 Pirouette Stamps – LDRS Creative onto navy card stock with clear embossing ink. Then heat embossed them with silver embossing power for a bit of Christmas shimmer.
The bow was die cut using the Peace & Joy Pirouette Coordinating Die Set – LDRS Creative. Both the sentiment and the bow were layered onto the same pale teal card stock to give some contrast against the patterned background.
To add some extra interest I cut a scalloped border using the offset slim line stack-ables set which is part of the Pastry Pals - Exclusive Craft Kit – LDRS Creative and placed it towards the bottom on the card front. I added some dimension to the sentiment and bow by adhering both to the card with some foam tape.
Finally card front was matted onto a crisp white card base and I added some iridescent bubble gems for a bit of sparkle!
