Pine Cone Blooms stencil card tutorial for holidays

Hey everyone! Stephanie here with you today on the LDRS Creative blog!
I was in need of a quick and easy card to give someone over the holidays and thought why not use the Pine Cone Blooms Impress-ion set!

Material used:
Pine Cone Blooms impress-ion Press + foil plate, coordinating die and stencil bundle
Raven Hybrid ink
Lipstick Jungle hybrid ink
Marina Madness hybrid ink
Tropical Sea hybrid ink
Plum Crazy hybrid ink
Mrs Periwinkle hybrid ink
Olive Branch hybrid ink
Little Boy Blue hybrid ink
In Your Face Orange hybrid ink
Peachy Keen hybrid ink
Kiss Me Red hybrid ink
A2 cotton watercolor paper panels
Luxe Magnetic Glass Craft Mat

I almost forgot! Want to see this card come together on video? Head over to our Instagram page

To create this card, I first inked the Pine Cone Blooms impress-ion press with Raven hybrid ink onto a watercolor panel and ran it through my diecutting machine to get a crisp stamped image in no time.

Next, I followed the very easy and simple instructions that come with the stencil bundle to apply different inks (quite loosely!) with blending brushes.

TIP: Don't worry if you don't perfectly align your stencil or get some color where it wasn't supposed to... it's part of the look, in my opinion!

After the whole ink blending was done, I diecut the bouquet with the coordinating die set and popped the whole thing with 3D foam adhesive onto an A2 cardbase. I added a sentiment in French (sorry people, this was an LDRS store exclusive!) and a few glitter drops here and there.
