Card Making with Patterned Papers!

Hello everyone ! Lounon here !

Today, no inking, stamping or coloring but only die-cutting with the super pretty LDRS Beautiful Day 6×6 Paper Pack.

First, I used my biggest 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ die from the A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers Die Set onto navy cardstock. Then, I used the 4″ x 5 1/4″ rectangle from the Delicate Stitches Scalloped Rectangle Dies onto the rainbow doted patterned paper from the Beautiful Day 6×6 Paper Pack.

I used the same scalloped die on another patterned paper to get two “triangles”.
I also used the 1/2″ Scallop Slimline Background Strips Die onto yellow cardstock, kept one of the stripe and framed it to 4″ width with the same scalloped die.

After that, I cut a 1" x 7 1/2" stripe onto yellow cardstock. I scored it every 1/4", and glued the borders together to make my rosette. I glued two pieces of thick cardstock on each side to maintain the shape.
Then, I cut a 1 11/16" circle onto one of the other patterned paper from the pack. I also used a 7/8" circle die to cut the sentiment from one of the sheet.
For the cloud, I used one of the die from the Home Design Foliage Add-On Dies twice onto the doted patterned paper.

Finally, I glued all the pieces together : first I matted and layered the two rectangles. Then, I glued my yellow stripe and my two rectangles with foam pads. I glued my yellow rosette, then, my bigger circle, the clouds with foam pads and my sentiment on top of them with foam pads too.
Et voilà !
May the craft be with you !
