Starting the year with a positive vibe

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!

I can hardly believe that it's time for another year already. I'm hoping for all of our sakes that 2022 will be kinder to us than the previous two years were. With that in mind, I'm sending out some positive vibes into the universe and to everyone. A bit of a silver lining attitude never hurt anyone, right?

The basic layout of this card is so easy to change up with a different colour scheme, for other occasions etc, and that's a good thing to have in your arsenal.

First off, I diecut the fabulous Modern Trellis cover plate out of white card stock, and poked out all the bits so it was just the outline piece left. With some liquid adhesive I added this to a white card base and set this aside.

Next up, I got the lovely flower dies out, I have used both the Perfect Petals and Layered Poinsettia sets, but in the same colours. The card stock I used has a lovely linen texture to it, adding a bit more interest to the flowers as well.

After adding of of each to the card, all I needed to add were some uplifting sentiments. The ones I picked are from the Happy Me, Happy You stamp set. This stamp set has a super clever little diecut for it, too! You get all the sentiments stamped in one go and then also cut in one go! Talk about time saver. Genius!

So, that's the card finished but remember that it's so easy to change it up to suit your colour faves, or fave colour of the recipient, or change the occasion by adding another sentiment. Go forth and be creative!
